Dahana — best Japanese restaurant in Seminyak (hidden gem!)

Don’t spill your secrets they say, but this one we really can’t keep to ourselves ‘cause it’s too good! 

If you're a huge lover of Japanese food and sushi like us, note Dahana down to your go-to restaurant for lunch or dinner — whether you're on a romantic dinner date (or solo date!) or easy night out with friends or family. Dahana is a Japanese restaurant located in a traditional Balinese villa with pool on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The ambiance is super cozy, with outside tables overlooking the garden area and pool in soft light. Or cool down in the enclosed dining area with AC on hot Bali days.

We’ve been coming to Dahana for more than ten years and still to this day is our top favorite restaurant in Seminyak and eat here at least three times a week. The food is always so incredibly delicious and fresh (literally already starting to drool when we even write about the food!) and the sweet staff always amazing and kind. To us, there really is no better Japanese restaurant in Seminyak than Dahana.

Our personal favorite dishes are the miso soup to start, mango salad for the spice, seaweed salad, cucumber maki, california roll, salmon terriyaki and their vegetable gyoza. Also famous is their lemon chicken and the matcha ice cream for desert is really one not to miss. They also serve delicious drinks and cocktails to make it a night out.
