Bali Book launch at Bam Boa

It's been a month since our Dutch Bali travel book 'We Like Bali - Dé reisgids voor het ultieme eilandleven' hit the bookshelves. Still pinching ourselves every time we see you guys traveling with our book or when we spot our book in our favorite stores. It feels so unreal to be officially published authors! Couldn't be happier to top off our 10 years of Welikebali with this baby and keep on sharing all the Bali love and make sure you guys are having the best Bali vacay EVER.

We finally took the time to upload the photos of our press launch that we hosted together with our publisher Uitgeverij Unieboek | Het Spectrum at Bam Boa in Amsterdam.

It was a perfect morning filled with Bali vibes with these radiant island babes (+ one dog and a few babies!), thanks for celebrating with us! When we started organising this launch event we knew right away we wanted to do it at Bam Boa in Amsterdam. With all the rattan interior it feels like a pretty Bali café and the food is so good (acai bowls for this win)! On the day of the event, we turned it into a real island-style breakfast with a tropical table arrangement with coconuts, shells, personally painted artworks by Secret Salt, our new Bali beach tote bag filled with island goodies, and the amazing Judith Slagter created the most beautiful tropical flower arrangements. We are still obsessing over it! And for all the girls invited we had a beautiful flower for behind their ear. It really felt like we were in Bali for the day!

We were able to enjoy the moment in full as we had the two most incredible girls taking photos of the event. Behind the lens were Charlene from Secret Salt and Nina Moerdijk shooting analog. You girls are the best!
