Perfect for solo and budget travelers: Roomates Canggu

Traveling to Bali solo or on a budget? Lately we’re receiving a lot of questions of by travelers if we know great budget options in Canggu walking distance to the beach. So we did some research and went to check out Roomates!

Roomates Canggu is a tropical, stylish hostel perfectly located on Batu Bolong, the main street in of Canggu and affordable for every traveler. There are private rooms if you’re traveling solo, as a couple or with friends but also bunk beds for the lowest budget option (starting from 10 euros a night already and good to mention there are female only options!)

There is a shared pool, amazing restaurant and lounge area at the heart of the hostel and the pool bar gets - as we heard - pretty fun at the end of the day! So, it is as well a great place to meet likeminded travelers if that is something you’re looking for while traveling in Bali. In the morning you can start your day with a yoga session or hop in the jaccuzy on the rooftop for a romantic sunset date. If you’re needed to get a little work done online there is also a coworking space in the café.
