Villa Desa Roro Dua in Berawa | Family Friendly stay

Escape to your perfect family holiday at Villa Desa Roro Dua. We were looking for a spacious villa in Berawa, where we could fully enjoy time with Manua and our friends and family living in the neighborhood. We got in touch with Bali Villa Finder, explained our wishes and found our dream island home for the week!

Villa Desa Roro Dua is a two-bedroom tropical oase located in the heart of Berawa. A buzzing neighborhood, close to Seminyak and Canggu’s Batu Bolong. The villa can be booked separate or together with next door Villa Desa Roro next door, offering 5 more bedrooms and another private pool. It’s the ultimate family holiday home! The spacious, lush garden is one big adventure for the kids, and if you have little ones they can set up a pool fence so they can play around freely. We could fully sit back and relax knowing Manua was safe at all times!

The villa is unique blend of traditional Balinese elements and charming decoration in an exotic setting. Its interior and spaces breathe peace and harmony. The high-vaulted ceiling is traditionally Balinese design, the spacious lounge are comfortable for all day hangouts and late night talks. A tropical breeze flows gently throughout the day. A cupboard filled books and board games give it a true homey feel, and much more than just only a holiday rental. The sun beds by the (12-meter!) pool were our all-day hangout. Soaking up the sun and splashing in to cool down from the Bali heat. And the gazebo perfect for reading a book or taking a nap. Each bedroom is incredibly spacious and both have a private bathroom. One bedroom has direct access to the garden and pool, while the other has a door to the patio at the back with barbecue. Both offer AC!

Besides the natural beauty of Villa Desa Roro Dua - what truly made us love it even more were the wonderful Ibu Komang and her staff. They were present at the villa to look after us. They made our stay incredible. All smiles, kindness and such good care! Each morning we woke up and delicious breakfast was freshly made in the kitchen, Manua’s fave were the banana pancakes! All kinds of other services are available as well, like in-house massages (we booked it two times, it was amazing!) or other spa treatments or even a private chef for delicious lunch and dinner. They also offer to babysit the kids, in case you’re combining your stay with work or enjoy a date night while knowing the kids are having a good time at the villa!

Whether you’re looking for the perfect getaway with friends or enjoying a family vacation, the house is the perfect destination to escape the hustle and bustle, yet be close to everything!

• The villa has 2 spacious bedrooms + 2 bathrooms. One has sliding doors to a cozy patio and direct access to the garden and pool!
• Big swimming pool (pool fence available on request!) + kids pool
• Sun beds and umbrellas, daily fresh pool towels
• Open living that can be closed with sliding glass doors
• Fully equipped kitchen and all-day staff, our tip is to include the breakfast!

• Babysitting is available and other kids facilities. Ibu Komang and her team are everything you wish for!
• Closest beach: Berawa Beach (850m) you can take a motorbike or taxi/driver there and takes about 5 minutes (it’s not a walkable area)
• The main road is close by the villa so you’ll hear the traffic when it’s busy, we didn’t find it distracting and we’re so familiar with it in Bali nowadays but thought it would be good to mention
• The villa is next door to Desa Seni, where there are amazing daily yoga classes!

Berawa Beach is closest or drive to Batu Bolong (love the seats at Times Beach Warung) in Canggu or Seminyak (go in front of High tide by Swich!) for sun soaking and surfing,
