Our story
Welikebali was born in 2009, when we quit our jobs and bought a ticket to Bali. The idea was to stay one year, but we fell in love with islandlife and have been blessed to made this beautiful place home.
Our collections
Welikebali the Label is our personal love letter to Bali. We aim to bring you those feel good Bali vibes via our holiday inspired collections. That endless summer feeling translated into a staple of apparel and accessoires, heavily inspired by our active island lifestyle where we live, play and surf under the sun everyday.
Made under the Bali sun
We design each piece to be in your wardrobe for a lifetime. Hold on to your Bali tees, cause will one day they will be vintage! We are conscious of our footprint and therefore working with only local tailors, sourcing our fabrics on the island. We personally know each person that make your cloths and are proud to support the local community in this way.
We choose to not mass produce and will always choose ethics over cutting costs. Every piece that you see and wear from us, is handmade. With you shopping at us, you are supporting small, local owned businesses in Bali.
To minimize waste we create limited collections. Once sold out, we will decide whether to produce a new batch or move on to a new design. As we’re slowly growing into a more mature label we will continue to improve on aspects of sustainability and environment. All our packaging is plastic free and eco-friendly. For our latest collection we have decided to use plant-based cassava bags to package your pieces in, instead of producing extra cotton drawstring bags.

Chasing Waterfalls in North Bali
This one is for you if you're a true nature lover. If you’re the kind of traveler who gets genuinely happy from the color (and even the scent) of green — and could spend a whole day chasing waterfalls — this is your tour.
You’ll head to North Bali, home to some of the island’s most beautiful waterfalls. The journey itself is part of the magic: a scenic drive into cooler, quieter landscapes, followed by a walk through rice fields with sweeping views of the mountains and the sea.
Once you descend, you’ll find yourself in a lush, tropical oasis — waterfalls hidden between dense jungle and wild tropical plants. Swim if you feel like it, jump in, even glide down one of the falls… or simply sit, listen to the water, and take it all in. This day isn’t about rushing; it’s about experiencing Bali at its most alive.
What makes it extra special: your local Balinese guide is from this area, and knows all the ins and outs — the safest spots, the quiet corners, and the little details you’d never notice on your own. Along the way, he’ll also share stories and context about Balinese culture and daily life. And yes — water here is not “just water”: it’s considered sacred. In many communities, it used to be customary to visit certain waterfalls with local guidance out of respect for that holiness — and your guide will explain the meaning behind it as you go.

Jatiluwih ricefield walk + Lunch at a Balinese Home
This is our personal favorite tour — the one we keep recommending to friends, and the one that feels the most “real Bali” in the softest, most beautiful way.
You’ll head into the heart of the island to Jatiluwih: peaceful, spacious, and refreshingly quiet — with rice terraces so beautiful they’re recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you slow down. Your local Balinese guide will bring the scenery to life, sharing how the terraces are shaped by the traditional subak irrigation system and what daily life looks like in this region.
And then the highlight (and the reason we love it so much): lunch at the guide’s family home. A warm, home-cooked meal in a real Balinese family compound — not staged, not rushed — just genuine hospitality and one of those moments that makes you feel truly connected to the island.
Traveling with kids? There’s a family-friendly option too: a shorter ricefield walk, more rest stops, and a gentler pace overall — so everyone enjoys the day (including parents).
Central Bali Culture Experience
This is the cultural day we recommend when you want something that feels meaningful and beautifully paced — not rushed, not performative.
You’ll start at Tirta Empul, Bali’s sacred spring temple, where locals come for melukat (a traditional water purification ritual). Your local Balinese guide will help you understand what you’re seeing — the customs, the symbolism, and the quiet rules of temple life — so it feels respectful and approachable whether you choose to participate or simply observe.
From there, the day flows into softer layers of Bali: a walk through a bamboo forest, then lunch in a traditional Balinese village, where the island feels wonderfully everyday and real. And because every great Bali day deserves a nature moment too, you’ll finish at a waterfall — for a refreshing pause (and a swim if you feel like it).

Who runs the tours?
Your day is hosted by Toko Travel’s local Balinese guides and partners. Welikebali curates the routes and experience style, and Toko Travel takes care of operations: guiding, logistics, transport, and on-the-ground coordination.
Is transport included?
Yes — hotel/villa pick-up and drop-off is included for these experiences (within the service areas noted on the product pages). You’ll be picked up in the morning and brought back in the afternoon/evening, depending on the tour.
Are the tours private or shared?

Are these tours family-friendly?
Yes. Many tours work really well for families, and selected experiences have a kid-friendly option (shorter walk, more rest stops, gentler pacing). Our team will contact you after your booking to customize your experience.
