If you've been watching our stories you know there is another update regarding traveling to Bali and the NO-quarantine + visa on arrival! Conditions are changing daily so many travelers are getting lost into all the information - we hope we can help to keep things clear.
Here's the latest Bali update!
And find our full Bali pre-flight checklist here
No-quarantine & Visa on arrival in Bali!
For everyone arriving in Bali, quarantine is NO longer required. Other conditions are still in place: a pre-departure negative PCR test result (within 48 hours of departure) and insurance that covers Covid related expenses.
Before you fly out to Bali make sure to download the PeduliLindungi app and make an account. That's all you have to do!
NO quarantine anymore.
Hotel quarantine is no longer required for fully vaccinated (2 doses of vaccinations or 1 J&J vaccination) international travelers arriving in Bali. It doesn't matter when you had your vaccinations, as long you've got 2 doses.
You need a valid visa (the B211 Visa or a Visa On Arrival) and a negative PCR test result prior to departure.
Is the visa on arrival also available in Jakarta?
Visa-on-Arrival is only accessible for 60 nationalities through Bali (see full list below). As a result, you must still apply for a B211 visa in advance for the rest of Indonesia.
Is quarantine in Jakarta still mandatory?
No!
Is it required to book a hotel on arrival in Bali? And do we still need the PCR tests?
There is no-quarantine mandatory for visitors coming to Bali right now.
List of 60 countries
Travelers from the following countries qualify for Visa on Arrival VOA), but only if they arrive in Bali. News is circling that more countries will be added on the list - but this is not official yet.
When do I still need the B211 visa?
If you want to stay longer than 60 days you need a B211A Visa, even if you could get a Visa on Arrival. The VOA is valid for 30 days and can be extended 30 more days after. After the 60 days you will need to leave Indonesia.
And you must still apply for a B211A if your nationality is not stated on the list above.
We can recommend to apply for your B211 visa with Bali Solve (make sure to mention Welikebali!)

CYBER GENIE INTERCONTINENTAL is a great company and we need more genuine hackers and software programmers like them in this world, they were able to unlock an old crypto wallet account that I thought I couldn’t ever access. They were very helpful and extremely patient with me, even after they were able to access it, they never took a dime from thousands of euros Bitcoin in it. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Thankyou

Is the minimum 4 days 3 nights accommodation in a CHSE hotel still required?

Bonjour !!
Thanks a lot for all the precious information in your blog. It s very helpful.
I have a little tricky question. I am flying in a month time. Today, I was suppose to do my first vaccine but I got Covid yesterday. So I will only be able to do one shot before departure. I wonder if it will be fine as here having Covid is considered as 1 shot of vaccine.
Or if I read properly your article, if I find a J&J vaccine center, one shot would be enough. Is it correct?
Thanks a lot for your help !!
Hi,
We will arrive at Bali in June and we want to fly to Flores the next day after arrival. Do we need to stay at Bali first or is it possible to fly the next day to Flores?
Hi, in relation to the statement listed above “When PCR test result is positive, with no or minor symptoms you can quarantine at your own hotel or Airbnb for a minimum 5 days and until your PCR returns negative. You don’t have to do 5 days isolation at a dedicated isolation hotel anymore”, where did you get this information? Everything I read states there is still a requirement to be moved to an isolation hotel.
Hi there! Thanks for the clear update. Do you know if there’s a roadmap for Bali covid travel regulations? I mean, for example, will the mandatory pcr test be skipped coming weeks/month? Like Dutch Antilles skipped almost all restrictions. We are still in doubt for coming summer holiday, stay in EU again or after 2 years to do Bali again.
Hi! I’m wondering about travel to other islands with the visa on arrival. I have a foreign relative currently living in another part of Indonesia and we plan to visit him after our entry into Bali, but I saw you mention that other island travel would not be permitted. I can’t find information on this anywhere else! Should we apply for a different visa in order to travel domestically? The sponsored one vs the on arrival one? Any info would help! (Arrival date April 27, 2022)
Hi,
Our flight arrives in Jakarta and from there we want to fly to Jakarta. Do you know if we will have to quarantine in Jakarta for 1 day before we can travel to Bali? If so, are there quarantine hotels at the airport?
Hello, what it the cost of the PCR test on day 1 and day 3?
Thank you.
Do you know what the requirements for unvaccinated children under 12 are to have a visa on arrival? Is that possible if the parents are all vaccinated?
Hi, can we still travel to Nusa Lembongan (booked for mid-May)? Are the fast boats operating? Are changes to the CHSE list and requirements likely in the next few weeks?
Thanks for all your work with updates!
Hi, thanks for your info! If we’re planning to fly back after the 4 days, do we still need to take the PCR test on day 3? And if so, where? Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for this article!
In case the PCR come back positive, is it possible to present a covid recovery certificate along with the positive test result? I know it is highly likely for covid recovered patients to still test positive within 3 months of being infected. I can’t find any article that mentions this, so crossing my fingers you are aware!
Thanks so much for this amazing info! I have the same questions as below…maybe you can help to answer them:
I have planned a trip to Bali in May. Do you know how or where you can get the PCR tests on the third day? Do you also know if the booking requirements are just to have one confirmed (I.e would booking.com suffice)? Do you know the average wait times of the PCR results whilst we have to isolate? Appreciate these are a lot of questions just hard to find some more detail.Thank you !!
