Nice to meet you! We are Pris & Eve - best friends and creatives, born in The Netherlands with Indonesian roots - and founders of Welike Bali; our Bali & Island Lifestyle platform, that we started in 2009.
Our Bali story
Our story started when we quit our jobs and bought a ticket to Bali for one year. Welike began as a blog and a hobby, intended to share all our Bali tips with friends and family. Now 15 years later, Welike Bali grew out to be the destination for the creative traveler and the island’s number one credible Bali Guide, where we share the best of island life with an inspiring community of sunshine lovers like you!

We inspire to live island life to the fullest with our curated Bali tips through our Instagram @welikebali and Bali Travel Guides (our first issue came out in 2016 and issue 007 just launched!) and design dream vacations to Bali with our custom Bali Travel Planning Service - all with love and respect for the island, the beautiful people and in close collaborationwith Bali’s environmental organizations.
Together with our team we love to discover new places and explore the islands for hidden gems that match our Welike Bali style. Our curated tips are a mix of all time favorites, newest hot spots, unique spaces and concepts, local projects and brands that fit the island lifestyle.
We will always bring you the best of Bali through our personal experience and through our creative lens.

With our Creative Studio we help brands with content creation, shoot production and influencer trips and events.
Welike Bali the Label
We design and run our very own Bali based brand @welikebalithelabel. Our sunkissed souvenirs are ethically made in Bali and available in more than 20 stores in Bali, Lombok and Nusa Lembongan.
We live by our motto:“Live a life you don’t need a vacation from”. After meeting the loves of our lives Arnaud and Stephen in Bali, we now divide our time between Bali, Biarritz and Amsterdam. And in 2019 the newest addition to the tribe ‘Manua’ was born.

Welikebali the Label is our personal love letter to Bali. Made under the Bali sun.
We design each piece to be in your wardrobe for a lifetime. Hold on to your Bali tees, cause will one day they will be vintage! We are conscious of our footprint and therefore working with only local tailors, sourcing our fabrics on the island. We personally know each person that make your cloths and are proud to support the local community in this way.
We choose to not mass produce and will always choose ethics over cutting costs. Every piece that you see and wear from us, is handmade. With you shopping at us, you are supporting small, local owned businesses in Bali.

Hi! I am Priscilla Rosmolen a.k.a. Pris. I was born in The Netherlands and lived in Amsterdam before traveling to Bali in 2009. My dad is Dutch and my mom was born in Java. I am mom to daughter Leia Soleil (2023) and together with my husband Arnaud we travel between Bali, Biarritz and Amsterdam.
I've worked in the marketing, fashion & influencer industry since 11 years. My biggest loves are surfing, fitness, analog photography, acai bowls with peanutbutter, oat latte's and my sweet family and friends all over the world. Together with Arnaud I own @balibowls, and I am frequently in Amsterdam to work at our new Welike Bali office. My favorite travel destinations are: The Mentawaii Islands, Tahiti & Hawaii, as long as there are waves all day every day! On my bucketlist is surfing in the Philippines & Maldives.
What I love most about Bali:
The feeling of being free, the forever smiling people, she hot shining sun, the pumping waves, white sand beaches and that forever summer feeling. The creativity & endless possibilities on the island inspire us daily. Never a dull moment in our Bali life.
Aloha! I am Evelien Riupassa, a.k.a. Eve. I grew up in The Netherlands, my mom is Dutch and my dad is Moluccan. I speak Dutch, English and Indonesian! I'm the proudest mommy to my boys Manua (2019) and Roa (2023), and married to Stephen, who I met on the very first day when I arrived in Bali in 2009. My biggest loves are dancing, pilates, the ocean (some longboard surfing when waves are small!), matcha and of my kids and making sure they are living their best lives!
We're currently based out of Amsterdam, to have Manua growing up close to his family. And we are spending as much time on the island as possible. My favorite travel destinations besides Bali: Moluccan Islands, Los Angeles & Hawaii. On my bucketlist are all Polynesian islands. I'm in love.
What I love most about Bali:
Bali awakens a special feeling. It brings you back to the core of who you are, what you love and can bring you waves of new inspiration and endless possibilities. The sun, smiles, ocean and islandlife are always giving me so much energy! I also love that we're never done exploring the island. And I'm always excited for salty island escapes. Especially now that I'm experiencing this through the eyes of a mom, kiddie friendly spots it is!
