Basking in the sun - Seri Resort Gili Meno

May your days be nothing but basking in the sun all day, swinging into the sunset, snorkeling with turtles out front and ordering food on your beach bed. You don’t need to move at all at Seri Resorton GiliMeno.Oh life!

We stayed here for a tropical weekend getaway last July with friends (see our Gili Meno travel diary here!), and were absolutely in love with this little serene, white ocean resort, covered in pink flowers and the friendliest people. The majority of the island stays on Gili Menoare quite basic, so if you’re looking for something special Seri Resort is your thing.

As Gili Meno is known as the ‘honeymoon island’ this would be the perfect place for the love birds (IF you’re reading this and planning your honeymoon: ask for the beachfront bungalow closest to the ocean). But, don’t worry if you’re traveling with your family, friends or solo; it’s perfect for anyone looking for ultimate relaxing sunshine covered days.

Seri has small bungalows, a good restaurant (dinner can also be on the beach in the sand underneath the stars!), a big pool perfect for laps, comfy beach beds, a spa and beach massage (tried and tested, snored our way through so must’ve been good hehe). Our front there’s a famous snorkeling spot called ‘turtle point’. Around 11am and 3pm every day you can splash in and snorkel with these cute ocean friends. We loved it, it was amazing!!

Islandlife is truly good at Seri Resort,we hope to be back here soon! (And bring our boyfriends for some smooching pre-honeymoon hihi).
