Nice to meet you! We are Pris & Eve - best friends and creatives, born in The Netherlands with Indonesian roots - and founders of Welike Bali; our Bali & Island Lifestyle platform, that we started in 2009.
Our Bali story
Our story started when we quit our jobs and bought a ticket to Bali 17 years ago. Welike began as a blog and a hobby, intended to share all our Bali tips with friends and family. Welike Bali grew out to be the destination for the creative traveler and the island’s number one credible Bali Guide, where we share the best of island life with an inspiring community of sunshine lovers like you together with our team!

We inspire to live island life to the fullest with our curated Bali tips through our Instagram @welikebali and Bali Travel Guides and design dream vacations to Bali with our custom Bali Travel Planning Service - all with love and respect for the island, the beautiful people and in close collaboration-with Bali’s environmental organizations and local people.
Together with our team we love to discover new places and explore the islands for hidden gems that match our Welike Bali style. Our curated tips are a mix of all time favorites, newest hot spots, unique spaces and concepts, local projects and brands that fit the island lifestyle.
We will always bring you the best of Bali through our personal experience and through our creative lens.
Welike Bali the Label
We run our very own Bali based brand @welikebalithelabel. Our sunkissed souvenirs are ethically made in Bali any local tailors we appreciate so much.
We live by our motto:“Live a life you don’t need a vacation from”. After meeting the loves of our lives, we now divide our time between Bali, Biarritz and Amsterdam.

Meet Pris
Hi! I am Priscilla a.k.a. Pris. My dad is Dutch and my mom Indonesian, she was born in Java. I speak Bahasa Indonesia, Dutch, English a bit of French and a bit of Italian. I am mom to daughter Leia Soleil and we travel a lot between Bali, Biarritz and Amsterdam.
My biggest loves are surfing, the beach, analog photography, acai bowls with peanutbutter, oat latte's and my sweet family and friends all over the world.
My favorite travel destinations are: The Mentawai Islands, Tahiti & Hawaii, as long as there are waves all day every day!
What I love most about Bali

Meet Eve
Aloha! I am Evelien Riupassa, a.k.a. Eve. I grew up in The Netherlands, my mom is Dutch and my dad is Moluccan. I speak Dutch, English and Indonesian! I'm the proudest mommy to my boys Manua (2019) and Roa (2023), and married to Stephen, who I met on the very first day when I arrived in Bali in 2009.
My biggest loves are dancing, pilates, the ocean (some longboard surfing when waves are small!), matcha and of my kids and making sure they are living their best lives!
We're currently based out of Amsterdam, to have Manua growing up close to his family. And we are spending as much time on the island as possible. My favorite travel destinations besides Bali: Moluccan Islands, Los Angeles & Hawaii. On my bucketlist are all Polynesian islands. I'm in love.
Welike Bali the label
Welikebali the Label is our personal love letter to Bali. Made under the Bali sun.
Together with our team we design each piece to be in your wardrobe for a lifetime. Hold on to your Bali tees, cause will one day they will be vintage! We are conscious of our footprint and therefore working with only local tailors, sourcing our fabrics on the island. We personally know each person that make your cloths and are proud to support the local community in this way.
We choose to not mass produce and will always choose ethics over cutting costs. Every piece that you see and wear from us, is handmade. With you shopping at WELIKEBALI, you are supporting small, local owned businesses in Bali.
